Cider with Evans

Purbeck Cider Company

Dorset Blush

Medium Sweet

Dark red cider, clear, slightly sparkling.

Main flavour is sweet apple, but with a hint of Raspberry. Very much there on the taste, nice lingering fruitiness. The good news is that it doesn’t get sticky and horrible.

I'm not a big fan of sweetish ciders nor fruity ciders, but that wasn't that bad. Might work well as a desert cider.

Dorset No 10

Medium Sweet

Light golden colour, clear and sparkling.

Nice fresh apple nose.

Mellow taste with a hint of lemon zest, and as it says on the bottle, toffee apple with a gentle caramel and very slight banana aftertaste. I'd put it closer to the medium end myself.

Smooth, refreshing, crisp and easy to drink, but wouldn't call it a session cider but probably good with food as it had a strongish taste.

Wouldn't say no to more.

Dorset Draft

Medium

Golden, clear, slighty sparkling.

Slightly farmyard cider nose.

Good crisp sweet fresh apple flavour. Slightly tannic aftertaste. Very refreshing and moreish.

This is a nice session cider and would happily drink at any time
