Brown Trout

Medium Dry

Amber, crystal clear.

Gentle juicy fermented apple smell, and very pleasant.

Nice strong apple flavour, lightly oaked with a lovely buttery blue cheese aftertaste. Well balanced taste and goes down very smoothly. Refreshing.

Nicer than Chalk Stream I think, as it’s more easy to drink, but beware at 6%

Chalk Stream

Medium

Amber clear and slightly sparkling.

Strong fermented apple nose.

Nice bittersweet taste, catches a bit nicely going down, but generally very buttery and smooth. Lingering dry aftertaste.

Not a session cider at 6% but nice and refreshing. wouldn’t say no to more

Dragonfly

Dry

Light golden yellow. Clear and slightly sparkling.

Cooked apple nose with a touch of honey.

Nice crisp bittersweet apple flavour with a bit of depth. Then kicks in with a decently long aftertaste alongside a touch of honey and a bit of golden syrup.  Leaves a nice juicy mouth with a slight dryness. Not obviously dry owing to the honey.

Very nice and moreish. Perfect to drink at the Wykeham folk Festival I’m told. Very well balanced in that way. Dangerous at 6%
