Light golden, clear and sparkling. Strong fresh tart nose. Lots of green apple and sharp. Oh cracking flavour. Deep rich, full of fresh tart acidic green apple but rounded off with a bit of honey and some oak wood. It’s a blend of Cox and Bramley and the freshness bursts out. Curiously to me the combination gives it a slightly pear aftertaste, but that is not bad as it’s lovely and refreshing. Cracking little cider this. Perfect interesting medium dry profile that you could drink lots of. Shame it comes in small bottles. |
