Golden colour, ever so slightly hazy and slightly sparkling. Big crisp straw/farmyard nose. Very dry and tannic on the initial flavour with a hint of wood, and it doesn't mellow hugely. It's not overly dry though so isn't a tough one to drink. There is some fruit in there that pops out and lingers to the end. There's a nice long aftertaste that leaves a mouth watering aftertaste. Dry ciders are not my favourite but this is not overly dry and is quite a nice little drop. Strong enough flavour to stand up to strongly flavoured food. |
