Conquest | Medium | Golden, clear and sparkling Lovely old apple smell. Lots of apple but a slight Slight elderflower and vanilla flavour which to me gives it a bit of a bit of a cake flavour. Has a little bit of Tannin to balance it out. Long dry aftertaste but leaves you mouth watering. Very nice indeed. Would work well with a desert, but as it's got a lot going on would do well as a session cider as it would keep your =mouth interested. | ★★★★★ | 4.8% |

Crowman | Medium Sweet | Well I knew this one was going to be decent before reviewing it as I had damn good session on it on New Year's Eve 2022-23. But anyway: Golden, clear and sparkling from the bottle. Nice deep farmyard cider nose. Bittersweet, lots of fruit and slightly sharp with a light cheese/butter tone. Tiny amount of oak in there as well. Fair amount of Tannin for a medium sweet which leaves a lovely mouth wetness after a long lingering aftertaste. Very nice indeed and very moreish as I found out. | ★★★★★ | 6% |

Hairy Pig | Medium Dry | Golden, nearly clear and sparkling Big rich cider nose with quite a bit of leather Ooh I like. Rich dry mellow fruity taste with a huge amount of leather and a bit of oak. Tastes of the farmyard with lots of straw and old hay. Very little tannin. Good long mouth watering aftertaste. Very very nice dry (I think it's more dry than medium dry), particularly if you’re not a bit tannin fan. | ★★★★★ | 4.5% |

Vintage | Dry | Golden, clear and sparkling. Slightly sour notes on the fermented apple nose. Nothing off putting though. Different. Very dry and fairly astringent with a lot of tannin. Leaves that dry feeling on the teeth. A little bit bitter on the side of the tongue but not over the top. But what is that original flavour? There's some dry fruit in there, a touch of oak, but the astringency kind of sucks the flavour out. Bit of blue cheese in the flavour as well. Not bad if you really like that kind of dry astringent flavour, but it's not for me as you don't get enough pf the fruit I think. | ★★★★★ | 6.8% |

Hornet Dry | Dry | Golden, ever so slightly hazy and sparkling. Big farmyard cider nose, just oozes the smell of a haystack. Yup farmyard taste as well, you can taste the old hay/straw (and to me the silage pit :-)) alongside the fermented apple. Big flavour but mellow as in there isn't much tannin and only has a slight tangyness and a touch of wood. It is slightly astringent though and it does kind of stick to the teeth eventually. Nice long aftertaste that leaves a nie mouth watering taste. I think this is one of those marmite ciders; if you like fresh light ciders then the earthiness and farmyard may put you off, but if you like the earthy ciders then this one will be right up your street. | ★★★★★ | 4.8% |
