Dabinett | Medium Dry | Copper coloured, clear and flat Deeply rich nose with lots of fermented fruit, with hints of orange and tobacco as you'd expect from a Dabinett. Initial hit is of a sharp tannin, but you quickly get a mouthful of rich bitterseet fruit. Full bodied is the way to describe it and you get that hint of citrus, spice and black tea as you should from Dabinett. Lovely long slightly drying tannic aftertaste, but is very refreshing. Very nice little cider. Lots of flavour but easy to drink. Very good quaffable example of a single variety Dabinett. | ★★★★★ | 5% |

Grab life by the Damsons | Medium Sweet | Dark Copper Red, clear and slightly sparkling Not the biggest nose, mainly of ripe fermented apple The taste on the other hand... Huge rich flavour mainly apple, but there is a small amount of damson plumb in there. Smooth as a whole but there is a slight sharpness on the back of the throat and especially if you swill it round the mouth. Lovely long aftertaste. A cracking little sweetish cider. I must confess I struggled to pull the damson out of the base cider, but it does provide a seriously rich easy drinking cider. This is a lovely cider and at 4% you could quaff away to your heart's content. | ★★★★★ | 4% |

Elderflower | Sweet | Golden clear and sparkling. Very nice little floral nose. Very much Elderflower. Interesting little flavour. Strong pleasant fresh farmhouse cider in the background with a bit of tartness which works well to overcome the sweetness of the strong floral flavour. Decent amount of tannin. Leads to a nice long lingering refreshing aftertaste. That's a really well balanced Elderflower cider and it's very easy to drink. How many beyond the first pint is a good question of course, but very nice for an Elderflower. | ★★★★★ | 3.8% |

Foxy Ginger | Sweet | Light golden, clear and sparkling Ginger beer nose. To anybody old enough it smells like the extract you used to use in the 70s to make home made ginger beer (well my mum did) Decent. Ginger, certainly is the main flavour, but you do get some cider in the background with a hint of wood in there. No tannin to speak of and you get a lovely clean fresh ginger aftertaste. I really like that. I'd rank it as the best ginger cider out there that I've tried. I'd certainly be happy to drink that for a session as I didn't find it that sweet to be honest and it was damn refreshing. | ★★★★★ | 4% |

Dorset Nectar - Jurassic Skyline | Medium Sweet | Clear, golden and sparkling from the bottle Huge rich mature nose. Slightly yeasty which reminds me of an old fashioned bitter or a ginger cake Huge smooth mature flavour. Cooked desert apple dominate with some raisins, plums and a touch of vanilla (ginger cake basically) but not too sweet as it has a slight tartness from the cider apples that are in there as well. Bittersweet as a whole, and no tannin to speak of. Long lingering juicy aftertaste. I find it more Medium than medium sweet personally Worth looking out for that one. Seriously good flavour for 4% and really easy to drink. Lovely bottle label of Weymouth apparently. | ★★★★★ | 4% |

Medium Organic | Medium | Golden, clear and fl;at even from the bottle Big, rich apple pulp nose with a touch of honey Lots of richness in this cider. Deep deep smooth flavour with a touch of tannin. Slight orange citrus in there and the richness reminds me a bit of plum. Decent amount of wood in there as well. Roll it round your mouth and the tannin comes out with a bit of residual sharpness. Lovely long drying aftertaste. This is very nice indeed A good mix of sharpness with the smooth to keep it interesting and at only 4.8 you could drink lots of this with no problem at all. It's actually on the dry side of Medium for me. | ★★★★★ | 4.8% |

Old Harry vintage dry | Dry | Dark golden, slightly hazy and flat. Powerful nose. Slightly phenolic sharp farmyard with a slight sweetness. Flavour is a lot smoother though. Dry, but not overly tannic or astringent with a bit of smokiness. Decent enough flavour but lacks a bit of oomph or fruitiness and body you'd expect from a vintage cider. Not bad but I've had better vintage ciders. Perfectly drinkable mind. | ★★★★★ | 6% |

Sweet Maiden | Sweet | Copper coloured clear and slightly sparkling. Lovely rich honey and apple node with the slightest hint of straw and a fair amount of leather. Oh different for a sweet cider. This could easily pass as a vintage cider as it has that deep rich barrel matured flavour with a lot of soft fruit. You get oak and you get leather but not overly so. It's very smooth but the carbonation lifts it nicely making it quite refreshing. Lovely long aftertaste. It is sweet but not over sweet and is very drinkable. Even if you don't like sweet ciders you should be able to put this one away easily. | ★★★★★ | 5% |

Top o' the hill | Medium Dry | Copper colour, clear and sparkling Nice deep cider nose with a touch of farmyard Not a huge flavour it has to be said. Bittersweet quite light with a touch of tannin but not a huge apple taste, but what's there is nice enough. Very short aftertaste but it is refreshing. I think I'd call this one medium not medium dry. It's ok, but won't set the world alight and Dorset Nectar do better. | ★★★★★ | 4.8% |

Wildcat | Medium | Copper colour, clear and a slight sparkle Huge rich apple nose with a bit of rum cask and toffee - nice Not quite as much flavour as I expected from the nose. Good vintage cask conditioned apple flavour. It's smooth with hints of vanilla but with a good sharp kick in the back of the tonsils to round it off. Fair amount of tannin but a fairly short aftertast. Not a bad drop at all and would happily drink many. If it had a bit more flavour it would be perfect. | ★★★★★ | 4.5% |
