Cider with Evans

Charringtons

Charringtons of Kent. This was one of the first ciders I tried after the first Covid lockdown and again when I got to cider #500. They make a range of sparkling ciders and non-alcoholic apple juice.

Cryals Classic

Medium

Pale yellow, clear sparkling.

Ripe apple nose with a bit of flower.

Fresh apple flavour with a slight rose petal tint, but not overpowering. Slightly dry aftertaste. Only comes in 330 or 750Ml bottles

Nothing to write home about, fairly standard session cider.

Very very pale almost clear slight green yellow colour with a decent sparkle

Very nice effervescent apple nose with that slight grape yeast hint

Ooh lovely tingle on the tongue and the flavour explodes in your mouth. Fresh apple with a slight tartness but slightly floral.

A decent medium cider that is lifted hugely by the carbonation which I personally have no issue with. This is indeed a very good celebration cider to put in a champagne glass.
