Golden clear and lively - very lively - be careful on opening. Usual dry traditional cider smell. Nice big nose fresh slightly grassy. Solid, full flavour with a bit of oaky smoke. Very sparkling on the tongue with the slightest hint of citrus. Not much tannin, but still mouth watering aftertaste with is nice and lingering. Yup, a good solid dry cider. Easy to drink ooh 6.3%. bit too easy to drink. I envy the people of Monmouthshire that can get this easier than I can. I would like to try the others. |
