Golden colour, very hazy and flat Farmyard nose. Lots of farmyard. Oh wow that is dry. Very astringent with lots of tannin. Fruit gets totally drowned out and just gives you a farmyard straw flavour. Strangely a little bit of vanilla as well. You do get some mouth wetness on the top of the tongue but the rest of the mouth is as dry as a dead dingo. Not balanced enough for me I’m afraid and was a struggle to get through it because of the dryness. |
