Big Apple Cider Company

Had two of these at a little Keg bar in Beverley and this was the local cider. Perfectly acceptable and very rarely quite a decent fruity cider.

Slightly pink, clear and a small head Gentle blackcurrant nose. A gentle mix of blackcurrant and apple. I think the base cider is quite sharp so it leaves a well balanced slight sweetness to it. The blackcurrant flavour comes out more with the aftertaste which is long and pleasant. For a fruit cider that is not bad at all. You could drink quite a lot of that before getting bored at it is not too sweet. If you like blackcurrant it’s a good one to try 4/5

Yellow, clear and flat Strong citrussy nose with plenty of fermented apple Not a huge flavour. Sharp fresh and tart with lots of apple skins. Fair amount of citrus with very little tannin. Nice decent fresh and refreshing aftertaste. Not bad. A little bit sweet for a medium and lacks much punch but perfectly drinkable.
