Golden, clear, very sparkling as you'd expect from a tin. Decent mellow cider nose. not as artificial as I expected. Ok, that's not bad for a beer maker's attempt at a cider. Mellow flavour with a little bit of tannin. Mix of Bittersweet and dessert apples, but there's a little bit of sharpness there from somewhere.
Good apple flavour of fresh green apples but with a decent balance. Good long lingering aftertaste leaving a nice mouth-watering effect. Not a huge depth, but that is quite decent. Could happily drink a couple of pints of that, but I'd be torn, as to get it I'd be in an Adnams pub and let's face it Adnams beer is not at all bad... |
