Golden, clear, very sparkling as you'd expect from a tin.

Decent mellow cider nose. not as artificial as I expected.

Ok, that's not bad for a beer maker's attempt at a cider. Mellow flavour with a little bit of tannin. Mix of Bittersweet and dessert apples, but there's a little bit of sharpness there from somewhere. Good apple flavour of fresh green apples but with a decent balance. Good long lingering aftertaste leaving a nice mouth-watering effect. Not a huge depth, but that is quite decent.

Could happily drink a couple of pints of that, but I'd be torn, as to get it I'd be in an Adnams pub and let's face it Adnams beer is not at all bad...

A blend of Worcestershire & Herefordshire apples with Rose water. Yes Rose water. This could be interesting.

Pink almost peach colour, clear and slightly sparkling.

Big decent cider nose which was a bit of a surprise with a small amount of berry and only the slightest hint of floral rose.

Not at all a bad flavour. Not at all floral which was what I expected from the description. It's just a straight Medium/ Medium-sweet cider. Mellow, decent amount of fruit with very little tannin but with a nice fizz on the tongue. Nice long lingering aftertaste leaving you nice and refreshed.

So why the pink? Why do I get the feeling that some marketing person at Adnams decided that the medium sweet / low tannin cider should be targetted at women so it had to be pink therefore? This is a dreadful shame as the pink doesn't add anything whatsoever and all it could do is put gents off from ordering a pint of it probably. Even in this day and age we don't like wandering round with a pink pint.

Despite that, it's actually a decent little cider and worth a go - perhaps they should sell it in opaque glasses for us chaps?
